So I have the Alum. Macbook and I use the mini display port to DVI and DVI to HDMI. the problem i have is that when i connect the macbook to the TV the TV acts as a continuation of my screen on my macbook. i just want it to be one screen. I want it to be whatever i see on my macbook the TV sees the same thing. Like when you connect your computer to a projector for power points but in this case i want to watch movies. I have a Samsung LCD HDTV (LN40A550). I know i won't get sound, are there any suggestions to wires i should get? preferably cheaper. TIA
