We recently purchased a 40" HD Sony Bravia Tv. I bought an mini dvi-dvi cable and connected that to my dvi to hdmi cable. I connected it up and when i tune to the hdmi channel I get my wallpaper displayed on the screen however none of the windows/menus that I open. I run videos and everything continues to run through the mac but not on the screen....any ideas? I have changed the screen display and now can get the screen-resolution and occasionally a website to show on the screen but my dock never appears nno matter the resolution and nothing changes when I try to enter full-screen on VLC.
