O.K so i came up with an awesome idea. i want to rearange a few keys to it makes more sense. on my macbook i want to move f1 through f12. heres the new layout.
f7- volume down
f8- track back
f9- playpause
f10-track forward
f11- volume up
f12-mute
also move all f1 through f4 up a key and move the eject key to the right of the esc key.
how can i reprogram my computer to do this.

If you go to Keyboard and Mouse in System Preferences then click on Keyboard Shortcuts you should be able to program your own short cuts. I didn't look down the list for the keys you need specifically, but that is a solid place to start. I am not sure it is totally possible to reprogram them though.
