Which hardrive?
I currently have a MBP with a 150gb hardrive and i am about to get it upgraded because it is lagging and exits programs and doesn't load things etc. So i want to know should i get a 200gb hitachi hardrive at 7200rpm or the 250gb hardrive at 5200 rpm

It depends if you think you'd need the extra space from the 5200rpm drive?

ill probaly need it but do u think it will help my mac from lagging and having dumb errors?

I don't think you'll notice any problems or lagging. Depends what sort of software you run though?
