I have an 1 Ghz, eMac, OS 10.3.7, and 1 G of Ram

I recently bought an Optix XR and Monaco EZcolor to calibrate my monitor but I keep having a very strange issue - at the end of calibration my monitor turns magenta. We tried using the monitor native setting and then the contrast was so extreme.

I tested the Optix on another eMac and it seemed to do fine.

How do I know if the video card is bad? Monaco can't figure out the problem and the eMac is out of warranty.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
QUOTE Thanks

I had the same "magenta" problem when I installed new RAM, rebooting solved the problem and it has not come back since - I am unsure what the problem is.
