Hello everyone,
Ever since I got Leopard I cannot do a search inside my external. I have an extensive music collection. Say I type Nina Simone, nothing will come up when I search although I have all her albums in there. It seems once I've listened to something it will come up but "undiscovered" content is unsearchable. This is a pain. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. thanks zak |

Are you using Finder or Spotlight? I have Tiger, so can't say for sure about Leopard, but from Finder, use Cmd-F. In the window that opens, click Other and check the external hard drive (which must be switched on). Hopefully that will enable you to search it in future, but from Finder. Spotlight in Tiger doesn't give the option of searching extra hard drives etc, it just does it.
