Superdrive Question

Hello,

I am just curious about the the superdrive, as i have seen a05 model and also an a06, are these just the pioneer equivalents in mac versions?

I believe a05 and 06 are the Pioneer model numbers. I have heard that Apple uses two manufacturers. One would be Pioneer, the other I have forgotten the name.
