In the mono laser class, Brother has established a good reputation. Take a look at the DCP7010, sells in this country for US$250.

the brother dcp7100 does not have a the ethernets
i looked through brother's products... how odd to see most of their printers have built in fax. they must assume lots of people still have a land line

A quick Google search shows the MFC 7820, and the MFC 8860, but you're getting into some sizable dollars there..
In response to your comment about landline, in this country people are going to have to get used to ADSL only after the next 5 years. Analog voice, and therefore fax, communication will eventually be obsolete, although for the first several years adaptors will be available. Actually, I'm surprised by the number of people who still use fax in preference to email. More secure for credit/debit transactions, or confidential information of course. Encryption should take care of that. Now back to my horse and cart.

I would have to say I totally agree with hughvane. I love my Brother B&W Printer. Mine is not a multi but a great B&W Laser with Print Server built in. Fast, reliable and low cost. I would guess the All In One is just as nice.
