good or bad? i am reading mixed reviews at the apple store so im wondering what every one here thinks.

Great I love it, I had a airport extreme before and I use the Time Machine function in leopard to back everything up.

Thats good to hear, I have been reading that it takes forever on the first back up is this true for you? and on the hourly back ups with time machine do they slow down your mac at all?

On the first back up I used an Ethernet cable, it still took a long time but as for it slowing down the computer on the hourly backups I haven't noticed anything.

First backup took 16 hours, lol, but after that the hourlies aren't bad - if it slows me down it's only for a minute or two.
