Hi,

I begin University next month and I'm wondering which hardware accessory to get for my Mac & PC; for wireless access to USB devices and also my printer. So I've narrowed my choices to the Belkin Network USB Hub and Apple Extreme BaseStation (both can be found here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-F5L00...7689813&sr=8-1, http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MB...ss&mco=MTMyNjY)

So firstly the Belkin is a router and has 5 integrated USB ports and 1 Ethernet port, which is perfect for me to wirelessly surf the net and access my devices wirelessly, except the only problem was when I was reading the product reviews, I heard the transfer speeds aren't quite as fast as USB 2.0 speeds, is this really a problem?

This product is just under 60, which is great but will the transfering affect the performance?

Next is the Apple Extreme BaseStation, it's more expensive at 120 and it only has 1 USB port, meaning I'll have to chip in on a USB Bus device which I don't mind on doing. But it's more expensive. Is it because it's Apple or is it going to recieve better transfer speeds than the Belkin?

If anyone has either of these devices or knows plenty about them, your knowledge would be much appreciated, thanks.
QUOTE Thanks
