Are there special dvd+/-rw burners for a Mac or would any IDE burner work? I've been looking around and none of them really say if they support Mac but the one I have in the system now is connected by IDE so I wasn't for sure it really matter. I need a replacement as the one in the system is old and the door is not closing all the way.

IDE will be just fine. Best have found to be Pioneer and DVR-115D DL 20X is as cheap as chips onlhy $39 here in Australia
