Thread: DVD Burner

Are there special dvd+/-rw burners for a Mac or would any IDE burner work? I've been looking around and none of them really say if they support Mac but the one I have in the system now is connected by IDE so I wasn't for sure it really matter. I need a replacement as the one in the system is old and the door is not closing all the way.
Thanks in advance.
