Disk Utility wont recognize Disk Gigs

I recently bought a new Maxtor 160Gig Drive. I'm using it as a slave. The Problem is when I try to initialize the drive Disk Utility will only recognize 32.5 gigs! Not the 160gigs it should be. Any ideas?

I have a 350 G4
