Hello,

I am trying to install final cut studio 2 directly to my Lacie Big disk extreme+ hd. I am not a mac user. In fact this is a relatives mac I'm working on. When I try to install the program I am prompted to select destination, either Macintosh HD or LaCie. When I highlight Lacie it informs me that I cannot install Final Cut Studio on this volume. This software must be installed on the sunning system. I don't much experience with external hd's so can any one help me? Thanks so much!
QUOTE Thanks

Is that the error you are getting? Because I am at a loss to what that means.
