Memorex zip drive problem

I let my room mate borrow it to transfer some files to his windows laptop and when i got it back it has no files on it but says it has only 5.2MB available. I tried to fix it in Disk Utility, but the erase options wouldnt work when i selected the zip drive... Any ideas? |
