Canon Pixma MX850 driver permissions

Hello,

I am on Leopard 10.5.3 and just installed the Canon Pixma MX850. Everything actually worked fine (to the eye) but then I did a disk utility permissions repair and got about 8 permissions errors. I am pasting the console log below. I am at a loss now because due to my playing with this the printer no longer shows in in the Syst. Prefs

"Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinter/PDEs/CanonIJPDE.bundle/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/BorderlessPrint.nib", should be drwxrwxr-x , they are -rwxrwxr-x .

I don't think so. This is an all in one printer. However, if the moderator would like to move it, that is fine.

Did the drivers come with an installer ? If so you could try to uninstall them and reinstall them with reboots between uninstall and reinstall, couldn't hurt

I'm impressed. For some reason it changed those files from files to directories. I've never seen that before, and I'm unsure how to correct it.
