    WD external HD
Hi, I have compared the: Western Digital Elements, 500GB, USB 2.0 & the: Western Digital MyBook Essential Edition 2.0, 500GB, USB 2.0, hard drives and they seem to be the same except for size and "buffer size". What is the buffer size?

Whenever I have bought an external HDD or any drive, I was always told that the more buffer size the better. I still dont know what it actually is, I just know more is better.

I would also look for a drive that has Firewire. It smokes USB.
