I've noticed other companies just beginning to adopt Blu-ray into their laptops mainly due to Blu-ray players' price dropping. Apple has already decided to go driveless with the Air so that is out of the options. As DVD becomes more and more fased out Blu-ray will eventually be the standard solution, but when? Will we see Blu-ray drives in Macbook or Mac Pros in the near future?

I believe the question is when will the cost of blu-ray media and blu-ray burners will come down?
