Making built-in iSight external

Mac Specs: Macbook Pro Santa Rosa 15" 2.4Ghz, 8600M GT 256MB Gfx, 2GB RAM

Has anyone seen or done this? If I can get my hands on a a built-in iSight from a broken macbook, can I use it as a usb device on a pc with the bootcamp drivers? These cams are really small and I can't seem to find anything like them at a reasonable price...
