Last week I purchased one of these cables from the Apple Store. I am connecting a MacBook Pro to a Vizio 42 inch LCD 1080p TV.
When I connect the Apple cable to my VGA cable and then to the TV, the MBP detects it and the second display is there but the TV says no signal. I have only seen it project onto the screen once..the very first time I tried. When I take a Windows laptop, not using the DVI cable it works with no problems. Is my cable bad or do I need to change some kind of setting? Any ideas? |
