Stand/Tripod?

Does anyone know of a STABLE stand or tripod? It needs to be as high as a keyboard stand since I will perform with it for my band. I'd prefer if it has some sort of lock so it doesn't fall, cause I obviously don't want my macbook to fall. Does anyone where I can get such product?

Thanks I think I'll go with the instand. And no I haven't tried a table, but it would be annoying carrying a table all over the place.
