Restoring a Mac mini from an eMac Backup
I have an emac backup on a hard drive, which I made using Superduper. Whenever I try to start up from the hard drive it tells me my monitor resolution is out of range. I tried different monitors at different resolutions. Is it posisble to restore a Mac Mini from an eMac backup?

    thanks.

    Specs:
Quad 2.8GHz Mac Pro, Edge iPhone
You're trying to boot the mini with the eMac backup and you're getting this error message?
Is the mini a G4 or Intel? I doubt it would work with an Intel mini.

    Specs:
    Imac 27" Retina 3.3GHz, 512GB Flash, 16GB memory, OS X.11.4.
Don't think it will work as bryphotoguy says. The eMac resolutions etc will be all different. Get a Tiger retail install DVD, a black disc, and try that on the mini, provided it is NOT Intel.
