I have any sensitive files on my Macbook stored in an encrypted disk image. All of a sudden today it started mounting without requiring a password.

I can't find any way in disk utility to alter this. Any ideas?

Hmmm...it got added to my keychain somehow. I removed it, but does anyone know if there's a way to change an encrypted disk image password?

After messing around trying to change a password on a disk image I finally figured it out, so for future reference:

-Eject the disk image in question
-click on it in Disk Utility Manager
-Choose the 'Images' menu on the top
-Choose 'Change Password'

Pretty simple, but you WILL need the old password to do it. As far as I know, you are basically screwed w/o the old password.
QUOTE Thanks
