Hey

I'm purchasing a macbook pro in a couple of months but yesterday a friend told me you have to install every drive manually. I use windows xp right now and whenever I plug in my camera or anything it installs automatically. Will this change when i change to mac?

Not true at all, if you plug in a drive OS X will automatically mount it and it will be instantly available. There are no drivers to install.
