You simply removed the Alias in the SideBar by dragging it out.
You can easily get it back by going to Macintosh HD/Users/YOURUSERNAME/ Then click/drag the Desktop folder back to where you want the alias in the SideBar. OR... Open the Finder Preference... Click the Sidebar Tab... then tick the "Desktop" check box.
