When I try using Bootcamp, an error message appears. What should I do next. Can anybody offer me step by step instructions?

Open Disk Utility from Applications => Utilities => Disk Utility. Select your disk from the left window pane (likely called "Macintosh HD"), click the First Aid tab and then click Verify Disk. Let it finish, then click Repair Disk.

When finished, shut down all open programs, go back to the Boot Camp Assistant and attempt to repartition.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
