Since upgrading to Leopard, my machine will not sleep on it's own. I've tried everything in every thread I've found on the subject but to no avail.

I downloaded the latest update, 10.5.2 and since then, not only will my machine not sleep on its own, now it won't backup on time machine. It gets to about 2Gb of 78Gb then simply won't go any further .... I even left it overnight and it didn't move. Again, I've tried all the suggested fixes but to no avail.

I feel like my G5 is in a time machine, going back in time to when these features weren't invented!

To quit to the topic, for the first time ever, my G5 woke in the middle of the night from the sleep I manually set yesterday morning. The console message reads:

17/02/2008 23:50:05[117]

<CFArray 0x142630 [0xa0550174]>{type = mutable-small, count = 2, values = (

As I'm a complete 'system' novice, I haven't a clue what this means but I know it's really starting to do my head in! Leopard was the worst thing ever to happen to my G5 which worked just fine on Tiger, although I enjoy many of the Leopard features (at least that still function!)

Please, can someone please help?
