Hi!

Well I'm proud to say that I'm about to enter Macintosh world, which might stand for the cliché "I'm new to all this, please forgive my ignorance"

Doubt: I want to install Leopard on my MacBook Pro, but I'm afraid some things like the graphic card and screen might loose their drivers and just stop working properly. So - and I'm quite sure this a rather silly question, sorry ^^ - does Leopard comes with all necessary drivers for my MacBook Pro? No exceptions?

Thanks in advanced!

Just trying to "think different"

Mac OS's are completely compatible on the Macs they support. Sometimes they require a certain ram ammount, etc...

the short answer to your question is yes, absolutely fine. congrats on coming to mac...you will find you NEVER have to worry about crap like that ever again!

Also can i just add. if your only just joining the mac world. your macbook Pro will come pre-loaded with leopard as it will be the standard will it not. unless of course your buying second hand or something.

Just thought it was worth adding. not to insult or anything.

Also Welcome to the wonderful world of mac. =]

Unlike Windows, OS updates for Mac are much more pain free. You rarely, if ever, have to worry about drivers.

I really appreciate your answers, guys! Thanks a lot!

It's just I'm buying it to a friend who bought it not so long ago just to realise that he didn't need it (yeah, one of those people who have "extra" money to spend and don't know what they're buying), and it has the latest build of Tiger installed on it.

Once again, thank you!

And I certainly feel welcomed to Mac's world now!

yeah don't worry about things not working because its all made from Apple so they know what will work inside of there computers and right drivers.

Id stay with Tiger 10.4 for know until the kinks are worked out.

Well it's a little hard to stay with tiger when the macbook pro will come with Leopard. Personally I recommend updating to 10.5.2 right away when you get your macbook pro. It fixes many of the issues many people are having.
