Finder usually opens fine and I can freely go about my business, but on every third right click it just randomly closes! So that about it. Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to MacForums.

You do not say what system or mouse you are using. Check the System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse>Mouse and see if the key is set up to do just that.

Mighty Meece can be a bit tricky.

I'm so sorry, My system; Mac OS X 10.4.11 (8S165) and I'm using a wired Mighty Mouse. I checked system preferences and surely it has not been set to any such thing.

Pesh Pesh,
vayleaf.
