hi guys,

I'll start by telling you why I had to install leopard again on this macbook.

So I was putting windows on the macbook. I went out for a smoke break and told my friend to follow the steps, but he kinda messed up. When windows installer asks you what partition you want to use, he chose the wrong one. he chose the one with the mac OS X instead of the one that was created by boot camp.

So now I have to reinstall leopard on there. I the DVD file on an iPod. I boot it from the ipod but after it asks for the language I want to use, it says that "cannot install OS X on this computer" and it refers me to the before you install manager.
Maybe I have to use the leopard dvd that it came with?

Well the macbook belongs to my friend and she just bought it last week, so she has the leopard dvd. Is it the sort of thing where the leopard DVD will only work on a certain lap top and vise versa?
QUOTE Thanks

Yes. If you want to install Leopard, you will need to purchase a retail copy of it.
