OS 10.4 - Network icon?

could anyone tell me how i can re-establish my network icon back where my drives are located when i open finder? i have to specifically click on net work at the top menubar to find my network icon.. tried dragging there wouldnt work..


solutions?

yeah, go to Finder>Preferences. then click on "Sidebar". then make sure "Network" is checked. hope this helps.

haha.. well eh.. thanks bro... im a pc user.. and they have me on a mac at work... h

I am on OS 10.5 and I have the same icon issue but in finder/preferences, there isn't a network tab to tick.
Anyone got any ideas.

Frustrated switcher...

In Leopard it's under the Shared section. Just tick off all those.
