Mouse jumping/disappearing on a G5

Got a mouse problem! When using OSX on the G5 the mouse will either jump to the top right hand corner or suddenly disappear from view. You can still double click, but you kind of have to shake the mouse and violently bring it back! Very strange and very annoying! WTF? Any ideas? Thanks! Carole |
