OS X resets some preferences

Every now and then some of my preferences will reset (i.e. mouse, settings, and highlighting) and I don't know why. Is it something that I am doing unknowingly or is something else going on?

Turn off FileVault for ur account and see if that helps.

FileVault wasn't/isn't on.

did you rename your home folder by any chance?

JayJay 09-02-2004 01:11 AM

Not that I can think of. Well not knowingly. What would that do?

You can not rename your home folder....if you do OS X creates a new one and starts you off with new preferences

JayJay 09-02-2004 01:14 PM

Nope, never renamed it.
