Arrow OS 10.4 - Need Some Apps to Make my iMac run faster!

Does anybody know of some apps that can help me run a little smoother and faster?

Any suggestions would be awesome

2.16 Ghz duo core 1 gig ram

Mac Specs: 2.16GHz C2D MacBook w/ 2GB RAM & 120GB HD. HTC G1 on AT&T.

Mac Specs: 13'' Macbook w/ 2Ghz Core Duo, 2GB DDR2, 250GB HD, 10.5.4. iPod Touch.
Agreed, the RAM upgrade always helps.

In the meantime, the two popular matainence software packages around here are MainMenu and Onyx.

I prefer MainMenu, but download either of them and execute their corresponding maintenance scripts to clear your Mac up a bit.

One background helper utility is Macaroni. It did the auto stuff great for me. It is by http://www.atomicbird.com/
