Hello , i've managed to mess up my startup disk settings and now my ibook wont boot!! Can anyone help? It gets to the Apple logo with the dial loader thingy and doesn't go any further.

    Specs:
    15" MBP, Core i7/2GHz, 8GB RAM, 480GB Crucial M500 SSD
I would try booting from your system restore disc, run disk utility to verify and repair the disk and permissions.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

when it goes ping (start-up chime) hold down the shift key (not caps lock) until you see the safe boot screen.

If this doesn't happen use cwa107s method of booting up using the install CDs (press C on start-up to boot from a DVD)
