OS 10.5 - Firefox won't download

Can't get Firefox to download into my new MacBook. I get as far as accepting the agreement, and then get this message:

"Verification failed."

I know how to fix this in Windows, but am new to Macs. Am running WindowsXP on a dual boot with VMwareFusion, but would prefer not to run the Windows version of Firefox on this machine if I don't have to. I feel there's a simple solution to this problem; I just don't know what it is.

Can anyone help?

Hi, works for me on Leopard 10.5 with the official Firefox Builds.

Do you have the url from where you have downloaded the files ? What Version of Firefox did you try to download ?

Can you try do download a Firefox Build from www.getfirefox.com ?

The DMG is bad, so delete it, delete any mounted drive created by it and download it again.

I found my link to Firefox from Google. Not sure why it didn't work, but the one you provided was brilliant. I have Firefox loaded now, and it was easy.
