Mac Specs: iMac Core2Duo "Childy" MacBook Core2Duo Unibody MacBookPro iPhone 3g
OS 10.5 - Change the MAX Magnification of the Dock (Picture inside)

You can change the maximum dock magnification level... up to 512 px.. **DO NOT EXCEED 512***

In the Terminal type (copy/paste) the following (change the 512 to whatever you would like):

defaults write com.apple.dock largesize -int 512

press Enter

Now in the Terminal type (copy/paste):

killall Dock

(This will reset the dock)

Obviously 512 is WAY too large (I like 192 or less)... but here is what 512 looks like:

what happens at 513: it does not get any larger, it goes back down to a very small height, but nothing else happens..
