Hi

I turned my mac on today ran as usual and then it turns on and the dock at the bottom has disapeared which is soo anyoying as you can do nothing without it how do i get it back

Did you try just moving your mouse all the way to the bottom to make sure it isn't just hidden?

Tried rebooting again?

Go to 'Dock' under the Apple menu, right under System Preferences and see what it says. It is quite easy to hit 'Hide Dock' when closing down, emptying trash etc.
