Application not shown in Spotlight search

This is primarily for an FYI in case others run into the issue.
Mine was DVD Player would not show in the results of a Spolight search.
Nor would it show in the results when searching the Applications Folder from within Finder even though it was clearly sitting there.
I had installed 3 other apps that began with the letters DVD and don't know if this was a cause of the issue or not.
I also had not launched DVD Player since my installation of Leopard.
Finally decided to launch it just to make sure it worked, which it did.
From that point on, it then began to show up in all searches.
Then began playing around with doing searches for other apps that had never been launched, but did not find another that would not show up as a result.I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
