OS 10.5 - how to format

Hi everyone,

I need someone help me. I would like to know how to format HD of my mac book and install a fresh copy of Mac OS X. When i say format is like ( like i just bought a brand new HD ).

Insert the Leopard DVD.
Restart the Mac.
Press C to boot from the DVD (Disk 1).
Go to the Disk utility
Choose the format option. (Quick option should be fine since you have a new Mac)
It should do the rest.
