OS 10.5 - Which cat is better, Tiger or Leopard??

Im going to get the new 24" 2.8 Ghz imac. I was wondering if the recent problems with the system is due to the hardware or the OS Leopard. Should i just get the imac with the older OS tiger instead or should i get an entirely differnt setup (mac pro for example)??

What sort of problems are you talking about, because as far as most people are concerned, Leopard has been great.

I've had Leopard since the day it was released and never had a problem with freezing...

Sounds like a problem with your computer, not the OS itself.

As mentioned if something is freezing your computer, it is unlikely the OS. Get Leopard, works great, and the features kick!!

/agree with the above posters. Most issues appear to be unsupported software and peripherals that have never been updated. Not replaced mind you but firmware updates so they operate with newer technology.

I too upgraded to Leopard since day one, but for me personally I think i prefer Tiger!

I've upgraded to Leopard, and so far, none problem at all!

In fact, my mbp is running smoother than with tiger. Faster!

I'm loving it!

From my experience, all my softwares works great in Leopard, just as they did in Tiger.

Leopard is a little faster, and Spotlight is quicker at finding things.

Leopard looks beautiful, where Tiger looks good.

Bottom line, Leopard for me!
