Just be careful if you use Filemaker. It may not work properly because of the new webkit from Safari 3

I'll think about how I should go about this. I think I'll uninstall Saft and the like. Unless it's already compatible with Safari 3?... I'll have to do some research.

but it took a real long time to boot up after restart

A lot of the Point updates do that and take a long time to boot into the OS the very first time. After that is should be like normal on the next boot.

I will try the update on my old Power Mac G4 as all my newer Macs are running Leopard.

I did the update. Now I have a problem with the USB ports. I can't use Missing Sync because my Blackberry isn't recognized. Not a good thing...

wow, feels like my mac is on steroids!!!

safari is unbelievable fast, the system is faster than before.. i just have one problem, the auto correction stuff... how can i turn it off?

i mean if i write something it will auto correct it, and it marks everything wrong if i write in a different language than english... like swedish, german, french and stuff...

Ok here's something of interest. According to a posted comments on TUAW.com, there is an issue with Colloquy and Safari 3. So if I update, you'll have to forget about me in IRC for a while.
