Hi, I'm trying to transfer files from my XP laptop to my new iMac, and someone told me to enable Windows Sharing and log in with your .Mac account. I tried that, and although it logged me in, it says:

An error occurred opening the folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access this folder.

Details:
550 /Users/abby/abby: No such file or directory.

Any idea what's wrong?
QUOTE Thanks

Could this not be the right login?
What exactly do I log in with?

.Mac? You don't need that. Go to System Prefences > Sharing > and then enable Windows sharing.

From thereon, in XP, Start > Search > computers or people > enter the IP of the mac > kaboom.
QUOTE Thanks
