Mac Specs: G5 Intel Al duo core 2.4G -- 4G RAM

Does anyone know of any other voices which can be downloaded/used in place of the ones already included in OS X Tiger? By this, I guess I am asking about private-made-other-than-Apple-produced software. If there are none out there...why not?
