    Rename trash
    How can I rename the trash? I would like to rename it as 'detritus'.

    I found an article on how to do it, but the publication date was '01. I figured I'd ask here before following the steps in the article and MY TWINKLING AND SPARKLING LITTLE TOES DANCE up my computer!

    Yeah, and I want to setup another, second Trash and name my Trashes Flotsam and Jetsam Is there anyway I can do that?

    While it might seem whimsical to you to do so, you could seriously affect the operation of your computer. What you see is an icon that you can give a silly name. What you don't see are all of the functions in the OS and applications that redirect files to a specific directory with a name that may be hardcoded. Rename it as you wish, but beware you could easily risk the stability of your computer.
