What version of Adobe products do you have? I have CS2 and am afraid I won't get it reinstalled if I do a clean sweep.

I don't think Leopard has anything to do with 3rd party apps not working...

What issues are you having PB? I have not had one so far. I will know more when my 5 license 10.5 arrives and I install it on my older G4 and G5 systems.

My upgrade failed so I did an archive and install on my mac pro. The only problem I have had is a strange line that appears at the bottom 3rd of some browser and finder windows. It goes away after i minimize and restore the window.

I had some issues on my install. Tried archive and install then clean install nothing worked. I brought it to apple and they put in apple ram and everything worked fine. So I bought the ram there. I had compusa ram in it and guess it didnt like it.

interesting to hear about the different issues and ... the good and the bad... so I'm guessing it's not the OS that's the problem??? perhaps it's each users machine that might have some sort of conflict in regards to "how" you get leopard installed........ *shrugs*

I might take a day and try a clean install... see how it goes

Being the sucker I am for new releases I just had to to be among the first to clean install leopard on my new maxed-out macbook. Here are the top ten reasons I'm switching back to Tiger until the next few major 10.5 updates and 3rd party updates pass.

1. incompatible with many 3rd party software packages (e.g. filemaker)
2. dot mac is seriously bugged (too many errors to list)
3. new mac firewall won't stealth ports (option doesn't work)
4. keychain doesn't like leopard so far (buggy with long passwords)
5. mac mail won't remember passwords under leopard
6. airport networking bugs (requires manual connection every boot)
7. intermittant long boot and shut-down (rare, maybe 1 in 15 cycles?)
8. don't like context menu changes (new "more" submenu stinks)
9. menu transparency effect can't be shut off
10. love stacks, hate new dock

Cheers,
robbym
