OS 10.5 - How do I get back my data?

After I perform a clean install of Leopard, how do I get my data back from my external drive with my Tiger OS? Ilife 08 came with my macbook, how will I get that back after the clean install? Thanks for your help.

After the install, it'll ask you whether it should transfer users & files over from another disk. Select that option and choose your external harddrive. Then pick your users and it'll copy everything over.
