When you go to time machine, it says it keeps hourly backups for 24 hours, daily for a month and weekly forever. Is there any way to change this? Id like to keep hourly backups a bit longer than just 24 hours, what if I notice on monday that i overwrote a file on friday night that I worked on friday afternoon? The friday backup might not have it and the Thursday one is no good either.

I dont do that much work so theres easily enough space on my external drive for this. I think Time Machine is rather limited in it's settings.
