    Startup Disk versus Bootable Disk
    Hi,

    Is selecting the External Drive as your Startup Disk the same as testing if it will work as a Bootable Disk?

    Yes, you could test it that way.

    What did you do to make your external disk bootable?

    I used Carbon Copy Cloner to Clone the Macintosh HD. I usually use SuperDuper, but its not fully Leopard compatible yet.
