OS 10.4 - Font Size Question

By mistake while I was out visiting different websites, I mistaken hit the command key and + sign at the same time. The font gets bigger each time I hit the key. Is there a way to permanently set my font to this bigger size vs. hitting these keys all the time?

Mac Specs: 17 inch 2 GHz C2D imac (5,1) with 3GB DDR2 RAM, X1600 (128MB memory) GPU - OSX 10.6.3

the8thark is offline
In Firefox:

Go to the preferences and the content tab. There you can change the font.

In Safari:

Go to the preferences and the appearence tab. There you can change the font.
