What are these packages in "Receipts"?

Software Update looks at those to see what software and version you have so it can see if it has an update for it. Mostly just Apple stuff. Also I think repairing permissions uses it to determine the correct permissions.

Ah. Good to know. I was hoping to clear out the 0.2 MB those files are taking up LOL. Glad I didn't.
